Legacy Windows customers should be looking forward to how Microsoft plans to piss them off in brand new ways with Windows 10X. While the name alludes to an operating system built on top of Windows 10 the reality is actually much more confusing. Normal computer users like yourself generally don’t care what happens in the complex parts of an operating system as long as the buttons are all in the same place. Well buckle up.
Designers on the Windows 10X team have decided to move everything around while adding essentially nothing helpful. The iconic Start Menu will be in the middle for some reason and turning off 10X devices will be an exciting scavenger hunt for new users!
Microsoft wants to drum up excitement by releasing a preview version of the operating system to developers who cannot even tell there are any major differences between 10X and normal Windows 10. Lucky for everyone the rumors of delays are already flying around.
