Michael Franklin is a computer programmer who has been coding for thirty years. From his childhood Michael was writing games for his sister. Since coding text based adventures in Basic his journey has passed from server, to desktop, to web but in all of that time he claims to never have maximized an application window.
While to most computer users this might come as a shock, to Michael it is natural and nothing noteworthy. The screens he has used always have been big enough so that a full screen window would not be the most efficient use of space. Sometimes when launching a program for the first time applications will behave erratically and sometimes go full screen. Not to worry though, Michael has written a custom window display manger which ensures no application will ever go full screen.
I work as an engineer in Milwaukee. Currently I work on a few different UWP apps primarily Ink Calendar.
