Tastes are always evolving, and especially for teens and young people these tastes are expressed in the current must have app. The most recent craze is notable because is incompatible with every single Microsoft product and service.
Typically this is not very strange for trendy young consumer to avoid Microsoft, but this app is exceptional in its avoidance. The app lacks any mention of or relation to Windows, Hotmail, Skype, LinkedIn, Azure, Office, or Xbox.
This marks a new low for Microsoft’s ability to break into the culture of the younger generation. For years now Microsoft has been struggling to make these types of connections. Even with their intense self-hatred Microsoft was not found to be relatable.
