According to a new report 100% of all teachers do not know how to connect Windows 10 to a projector. After fumbling around for a few minutes a student will usually step in and end the painful charade.
“Technology isn’t my strong suit, and my students have grown up with technology” said one Orlando pre-school teacher. Even though using a projector can be a frequent even daily task which teachers embark upon, Windows does them no favors.
With inconsistent behavior and hidden buttons designers at Microsoft thought it would be funny to hide common tasks from the user. In a statement from the company designer spokesperson said that there is a delicate balance which much be struck between form and function. At Microsoft the choice was made a long time ago to forgo both form and function.
Recent Windows Insider builds have added further confusion to the matter by moving around the connect button which teachers use every day. This is a part of the Microsoft initiative to change every single part of the operating system in random and chaotic ways.
